Currently residing in Lithonia, GA Half is a member of Encore Empire (along with artists Slice9 & Jaye Hustino), East Atlanta native, Da Kidd Half is one of many young underground artists proving he has what it takes to impend the industry artists, not only by dropping hot bars, but also by singing and producing (under the alias ‘SuperCool Productions’). Alongside the teams Most Hated Ent and Left Lane Music Group, Half has released a total of 10 independent mixtapes, working with artists such as: Y.Teezy, Tay Da Savage, Slice9 (Encore Empire) , and many more. He’s also worked with labels such as Shell Shock Ent., BlueBoy Ent., DGAC, and Jokuz Wild Records (which was the first label that signed him at age 13) as well as DJ Speedy, DJ Soundproof & DJ Cesah (Soundproof Studios) . His latest work “Point 5” set a whole new name and sound for this up and coming 20 year old artist.

TMC: What made you pursue music?
DKH: I was basically born into it. My father was a rapper & also head of his own label. He showed me the ropes as a Jit & eventually put me down with the label as a teenager.
TMC: What sets you apart from other artists?
DKH: My mainstream sound that also keeps an underground feel. So i easily appeal to any crowd.
TMC: Tell us something people may not know about you?
DKH: As energetic, & enthused & hype as i am in my music, im really a quiet guy. I never really talk unless i know u.
TMC: What projects do you have planned for the near future?
DKH: Up next i have an EP called 'normal' .. im still in the beginning creative & writing process but it'll surely be next on my list. Ill have singles & more visuals out until thats complete.
