"5th Mixtape"
Many female artists struggle to establish their musical identity and are scared to have that ALL IN YOUR FACE attitude but still remain humble and respectful. Some female hip-hop artists refer to completely changing their image to obtain success. Suni MF Solomon fits in neither of those categories while her sound is something rap/hip-hop is missing! Parole Liquide says: “Rap and soul together create something original and not obvious, and the flow of Suni is remarkable!” making music to live to, laugh to, smoke to, reminisce to, and party to. Her new mixtape, “5th Tape Outchea”, which is set to drop mid June, Suni is definitely letting her ATLien come out in her own unique original way but still having some songs for EVERYBODY! Currently pushing “Incomplete Thoughts” she is still shooting visual for this mixtape.
A happy jumping 11 pound baby girl was born June 13, 1991 in Brockton, Massachusetts at home with a midwife. Quickly moving down south after birth Suni grew up on the Westside of Atlanta, Ga. Suni began showing interest in music at a young age, rapping in the mirror at 7 and playing the violin in middle school, but she didn’t get serious about music until her teenage years. She explains, “I was always involved in music through schools, I was chorus in elementary school but I always wanted to play an instrument, I got lucky in 7th grade when my school offered orchestra and provided the instruments.” Although being a rebel got her kicked out of her original high school, Suni changing schools was great for her music venture, her teenage years was when she found herself as an artist, “Before I got kicked out of Douglass I met my producer BobxWeave, but I was still timid about my music or even mentioning the fact that I did music to other people. Me changing schools was the best thing that happened to me I gained a new found confidence and developed & name and a buzz” High school was where Suni began calling going under “Suni MF Solomon” as her rap name, “High school was great because I developed my name, just began going to the studio and putting music out and that quickly got me a buzz amongst my peers.” Linking up with North Atlanta high school’s rap entourage SBi (Curtis Williams x FLYTASTiK x Key Dolo x Wade B), Suni began a great musical relationship with FLYTASTiK and ever since 2009 they have been making music together. “I met Fly when I went to North Atlanta, he has such a mature, cocky, but fly demeanor our personalities just clicked and our ideas were always dope when it came to music.” Shortly after linking with SBi Suni dropped her mixtape “Back to the Basics”, “I dropped my first mixtape and the whole school went crazy I felt good walking in the hallways.” “Greedmont Park a big blog in Atlanta got ahold of my tape & reviewed it before I even knew anything about submissions so that was a great feeling!”
Throughout the time of releasing her first mixtape “Back to the Basics” in 2009, Suni has released 3 more projects: “Suni With a Chance” in 2010, “MFmix” 2011, and “Incomplete Thoughts” in 2011. Suni’s name grew through and out the city of Atlanta while collaborating with artist such as: Purple Monkey Sircus, JaMEEL, De-Capo Music Group, The Born Genius, Kemelia Da’Vinci, FLYTASTiK, and many more. The pieces slowly began falling into place with her music career. From winning open mics at GSU and open mics most venues provide. Performing at legendary venues such as Apache Café. Teaming up with local artist and her longtime producer forming a team that goes by “CMFTBLVN” (Comfortable Livin’). In which they sponsored their own college tour, The Feet Up College Tour, touring UGA, HU, and ending in DC to perform at legendary venue Twins Jazz in DC. “Working with my team and being able to list my accomplishments throughout my dream chasing I feel very confident that God has a lot stored for me in the future, with a great following and fan base I will continue to drop new music to keep myself relevant and successful,” says Suni.
With the attention that “Incomplete Thoughts” caught from new fans and blogs Suni says she’s ready to give her fans new music and to expect new sounds, “On my new tape I want to touch some topics that no one has ever touched. I like to think outside the box and not sound like your typical song. Some beats I’ve had for a moment but haven’t touched because when I write I aim to give you that sound you never heard and speak on that thought you never spoke of.” “I’m in the studio recording everything piece by piece no rush because I want to make sure I have no regrets on anything I put out.” With BobxWeave producing his unique mellow sound & Suni MF getting features from her team CMFTBLVN & others we are positive the fans will not be disappointed by her performance on “5th Tape Outchea” but we all have to wait til it drops!

TMC: What makes me a unique artist?
Omar: I have the ability to not only deliver quality hit singles, but I also produce great albums!
Check Out "You Know What's Comin" and "Grown Man Music" both off his 4th
upcoming album entitled "I'm Him".
Early Life: Omar A. was born in the North Philly section of Philadelphia with his mother and father, surrounded by a large musically & athletically talented family. His grandfather owned an independent record label which introduced Omar to the industry and that indelible music that would infect his soul forever. With the introduction to music such as Marvin Gaye, Patti Labelle, Earth Wind and Fire a foundation was set in his heart. Nothing influenced him though like the late great Michael Jackson, who to this day is his musical deity.
Hip Hop would give Omar A his path though to his sound and identity as an artist, with nothing making a larger impact than Jay-Z and ROC a Fella records, The Notorious B.I.G, P. Diddy and the whole BAD BOY sound of the mid to late 90’s. With saving the best for last, Boyz to Men and Jodeci set the groundwork and foundation of what Omar A. envisioned himself as when it was his turn to entertain the world. Early on in welding class at Maustbaum High School in Philly, Omar and classmates would use their lack of welding skills to rehearse over and over specifically “On Bended Knee”, “I’ll Make Love to You” and “Feenin” by Boyz to Men and Jodeci respectively. Sports were also a major part in the singer/songwriters life. Playing three sports all 4 years in high school (football, basketball and track) Omar a continued them on into college. Attending the University of Pittsburgh , were he graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Omar was able to truly find his sound, style and most importantly a team who shared his musical vision.
Career: While still in school he released his first full length 2002 independent album entitled “You Can Make it Happen.” With as strong local following and positive reviews lit a fire under him that he had never felt before. This motivation and momentum led to the 2003 independent LP release of “I’m Only Human” and the 2004 independent LP release of “Year of the O.A.SIS” which resulted in local radio play of the debut single “What’s That Language.” The song debut on Pittsburgh #1 station for Hip Hop/R&B 106.7 WAMO‘s “Battle of the Beats” winning 8 weeks in a row and earning him the prestigious award of being retired. Opening for major acts such as Bone Thugs n Harmony and numerous local and regionally know artist, Omar A has set the frame work for a major worldwide release of his next full length album.
Presently residing in Charlotte, NC Omar is excited and ready to hit the ground running with the release of his new 2012 single “You Know What’s Comin.” Capturing the mood of the industry and the emotion of the public “You Know What’s Comin” is an infectious up-tempo single poised to rock us all. Currently working on his 4th studio album, Omar A. is poised to make the splash as those he so much admired growing up have done in the past.

TMC: What makes me a unique artist?
MS: Well for one thing it's my story... I came from a very rural area of North Carolina where people are struggling. Alot of people have dreams but never have the resources to make much out of themselves. All they know is working a 9-5 everyday just to get by. Thats the majority of my story with my music. My accent is very heavy as well which distinguishes me from others as well. Though i'm independent, i'm not your average artist I believe in investing in yourself & putting in work every second of the day to be successful. That's what makes me unique...

A milestone is defined as a stone set up beside a road to mark the distance in miles to a particular place, or action or event marking a significant change or stage in development. This describes the music of Jovan Turner, born & raised in North Carolina, now residing in Atlanta, GA. Miles Stone's music has a southern feel, speaking on different aspects of the world around us with a country flavor. He has worked with upcoming producers such as J-Staffz (produced Wiz Khalifa- Meeting New People), and Sequence (produced and featured on Meek Millz’ Take You Home from Dream Chasers 2). What set's me apart is my grammer. Im from Georgetown,SC and we have a semi Geeche dialect from our neighbor Charleston County. You hear artist like Rick Ross talk about it, but its big here in South Carolina. Also, im a artist who doesnt limit his music. I'll try any style/sound once. im only 5'4, but I find it funny when people that dont know me hear my music and says " dude raps like he's at least 6 feet tall" lol That's pretty different too. Just living up to my name DOMINANT. I demand attention when speaking :)
Brand new single "Check How I Do It" is now available on "Itunes and "Rhapsody.com NOW!!
The south has held the hip hop crown for some time now, and as it continues to progress, South Carolina adds new quality talent to the scene on a frequent basis. The latest addition is newcomer Dominant, a young diverse artist ready to showcase his talent and contribute to the southern hip hop movement.
Hailing from Georgetown, South Carolina, Willie Winns Jr a.k.a. Dominant was born February 3rd, 1986 to parents Willie Winns Sr and Loucretta Windley and is the oldest of three. The 25-year-old rising star discovered his musical talent in the second grade. While growing his career in music, Dominant drew inspiration from his neighbor; Zaybo and his local rap group Drunken Gambinoz. He also credits Kris Kross, No Limit, and Cash Money Hot Boyz in playing an influential role in his career.
Following the success of “Just a Taste”, Dominant began working diligently on his first solo mixtape project. In the summer of 2009, he teamed up with South Carolina’s DJ Dynamite and released “On My Way to Stardom”. The mixtape showcases his versatility and abilities to adapt to different styles, while also catering to the ladies. “On My Way to Stardom” has served as an excellent introduction for the young artist, and proves that his journey will be full of accomplishments.
As Dominant has continued to pursue his solo career, his hard work and consistency has been paying off. In 2011, he won 2 SCUMA awards (South Carolina Underground Music Awards) for Best Collaboration with affiliate, Apollo, and Best Mixtape for “On My Way to Stardom”. He shows no signs of slowing down, as he is preparing to release his forthcoming mixtape, “DomSeason”, and is enjoying the success of his current single, “Check How I Do It”. It’s clear that others are beginning to take notice to Dominant and his talents, but he remains grounded and anxious to continue down the road of success. His work speaks for itself – he is a young, hungry artist capable of bringing refreshment to hip hop, and progresses in securing his spot as each day passes.

When she did her first gig at the age of five everyone new that she was a natural in front of the camera.
Since a very young age her passion for music and entertaining people flourished into her dreams of becoming a musical artist. Her phenomenal dance moves are influenced by all types of music but that hip hop swagger is indistinguishable. Her accurate but sharp dance moves are no accident and are due to grueling hours of herself mastering the art of dance alone. Mia Rey's early years in dance were experienced in directing church plays, her cheerleading squad, and competitive allstar dance teams.
Her attention grabbing lyrics and infectious beats are undeniable catchy and gets everyone in the mood for a good time. Mia Rey's vocal range is remarkable and amazes people that a big voice comes out of this 5' 3" model. Don't let the pretty face fool you. She is more than a model who caught the attention of Rapper/ Song Writer Yung Berg, who has taken her under his wings. Her musical Influences are as versatile as her style from Fabulous to Paramore. She is definitely an artist to keep an eye on. Her philosophy is : "Do What You love and Love What You Do! Just remember to keep God first and everything will work out for You". Her plans are to get to the top and take over the Game.

Fantasy (Prod. by JusaMelody)
Zilfa Owen was born in Manhattan, NY on September 13th, 1987 to a Jamaican mother. With an entrance made in the heart of the Big Apple, its no wonder that she was destined to soar to greater heights. After living in Brooklyn, her family relocated to Philadelphia where she spent most of her childhood and still considers home. It was there that her parents discovered her talent by accident one day while she was singing to herself. However, it wasn't until she relocated yet again to Atlanta that she started to explore her hidden talents. Now in Atlanta, Zilfa found herself in the emerging city that was home to acts like TLC, Usher and Toni Braxton. She excelled in poetry and writing and could always be found in her room working on a project. At 13, Zilfa started juggling school and recording songs with local producers. She also began performing at local clubs in Atlanta and was featured in the magazine "You Betta Recognize". While participating in weekly showcases, Zilfa caught the attention of an A&R searching for a third member for his group "BabyLove". After auditioning, she was chosen and endured daily "bootcamp" which included hours of working out and perfecting their performances. BabyLove worked hand in hand with the producers, The Platinum Brothers, and gained interest from major labels. Unfortunately, the group disbanded shortly after. Disappointed and discouraged, Zilfa set her focus back to school and work. After graduating at 16, college seemed like the next step but music still played in the back of her mind. As a dare, she auditioned for a singing group and was chosen for the female trio "Tomboi". The girls began development and created a demo while working with RL of Next, songwriter Atozzio, and Oak. Tomboi began to create a buzz in Atlanta and had the opportunity to auditions for labels Def Jam and Universal Records. After 2 years and no movement, the girls agreed to move on and Zilfa found herself back at square one. Instead of letting her dream die, Zilfa honed her talents and prepared for a solo career that she had always dreamed of. Currently, Zilfa is writing and recording her EP "Lose Control", which is slated for a February 2012 release. Her music showcases her writing skills, energy and her fusion of pop and R&B. She is already receiving rave reviews for her songs "Fantasy" and "Action" so there is no doubt that she has a distinctive, fresh voice and sound that is sure to draw her audiences in.. Stay tuned for Zilfa in the new year, big things are coming and you won't be waiting in vain!

T. Plezya, born Tony Edmond Jr. on July 20, 1986 in Miami, Florida grew up all over the world from overseas back to the states, and due to being a military brat, graduated high school and began strong musical aspirations in Germany. Due to in-taking and being exposed to several
different cultures daily, T. Plezyas music and appeal has no choice but to display unique personality. T. Plezya was introduced to the music industry first as Lil T in the r&b/hip hop group YK, which stood for Young Knowledge. YK began in a frostbitten 2002 winter of Germany. In Early early 2008 the group split due to musical differences after relocating to Texas to further their opportunities, but this counted as no regret because during the groups shallow reign T. Plezya had the opportunity to share the stage with former group members of B2k and Bad Boy Recording artist Loon along with other accomplishments. When the group called it quits, T. Plezya didnt let that stop him from reaching his goal to sharing bigger stages with bigger artists reaching his highest potential. T. Plezyas unique talent of creating melodic tunes grabs the ear of both young ladies and gentlemen with real life situations; from break ups to make ups; to club scenarios. Recently being proclaimed as a force to be reckoning with, fits perfectly because of his electrifying tones and presence on and off record. T. Plezya needs neither pen nor pad; just a mic to record a hit.
In 2008, T. Plezya was now solo. While collaborating with major and independent artists as well as major, well-known producers, this created an authentic T. Plezya sound. In 2009, T. Plezya released singles like Rockstar Love and Bow (produced by KE on the Track) that really created the Futuristic R&B buzz. In 2010, T. Plezya released records like the pop, r&b, but still Futuristic R&B side of him on Love rollercoaster, My Queen, and the first official single, Unforgettable Sex available on Itunes. Recently, with quotable feedback from djs in the clubs and streets, T. Plezya is now in a great position as an unsigned R&B/Pop artist.
January 2011 starts a new year with new goals and new visions. Releasing his new single on January 4th, 2011 was probably the best feedback ever received from any record released. The song is doing great numbers and getting great responses for 2011s first quarter. In the midst of the exclusive records and two single released from T., he has dropped a total of four official mixtapes: Business Before Plezya, Futuristic Love Affair, One Night on Jupiter, and the most recently released, A02 Mixtape, all consuming downloads over 10,000 downloads each. With the extreme economic change occuring T. Plezya is destined to bring an equal change to R&B and Pop music.

Though being unsigned he has managed to collab with several mainstream artists such as Soulja Boy, Travis Porter, Young Twinn and etc just to name a few. In late 2007 he picked up the nickname 'The Best Rapper To Do It' and thats because so previously early in his career he accomplished all attributes that some rappers are still trying to obtain today.
